Signs Your Spouse May be Cheating

Is your spouse cheating?

Do you suspect your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife is cheating? ​Follow your gut:

1. Intuition tells you something is wrong.

2. If you have to question your relationship in the first place, something is wrong.
3. The communication stops in your relationship. Has your spouse stopped talking to you, opening up or confiding in you?

Odd Behavior:

1. Your spouse stops wearing their wedding ring and makes excuses why they don't have it on.
2. Stops wearing items that you may have purchased for them such as jewelry or sentimental items.
3. People are creatures of habit. Has their routine and schedule changed recently?
4. Do you have to repeat yourself or remind your spouse about something because they seem distracted and their mind is somewhere else?
5. Is your spouse distant, disconnected or showing a lack of interest?
6. Is your spouse ignoring you or acting extremely nice to you, more than usual?
7. Are they trying to get you out of the house? Encouraging you to go shopping, hang out with friends, go out town or take trips without you?

Birth Control:
1. Have you found your wife’s or girlfriend’s birth control pills? Especially if you’ve had a vasectomy.
2. Have you found condoms? Did you use condoms before? 

Hygiene:
1. Does your spouse leave in the morning smelling like their usual cologne or perfume and return smelling like something else? When your significant other arrives home and immediately jumps in the shower or bath?
2. Uncomfortable Around You, especially when they're changing?
3. Are your mutual friends acting strange around you? Maybe they know your spouse is cheating? Maybe your spouse  have told them horrible stories about you.
4. Are your spouse’s co-workers uncomfortable around you? Maybe they know your spouse is cheating or maybe they know about an office romance.
5. Does your spouse act uncomfortable around you? Is their temper shorter with you? Do they get angry much easier than they have in the past?
6. Has your spouse stopped going out with you? Are they acting like they don't want to be seen in public or at a social gathering with you?

Electronics: Did you know that everything has a digital trail and most erased data, even deleted text messages can be recovered?
Facebook

1. Does your spouse spend a lot of time of Facebook?

2. Does your spouse have a lot of friends, especially of the opposite sex?

3. Do you see your spouse friending everyone on Facebook? Does she have a lot of ex's on their friendlist?

4. Does your spouse delete their instant messages or sign out or lockdown their phone or computer to keep you from seeing them?

5. Does your spouse have multiple accounts?

6, You've awakened to see your spouse on Facebook or on the phone and they quickly put it away when they sees you


Email
1. Does your spouse have a email address you didn’t know about?
2. Does your spouse spend quite a bit of time checking their email?
3. Has your spouse been deleting their emails when they never used to?
4. Are they deleting emails as soon as it comes in and then delete the trash to make sure you don’t see what it was?

Cell phone clues
1. Did your spouse recently buy a cell phone or have a cell phone that you didn’t know about or they didn’t you about?
2. Is your husband or wife deleing all the text messages or voicemails where they used to let them accumulate in the past?
3. Is your spouse now deleting all the incoming and outgoing calls from the phone so you can’t tell who they talked to?
4. Has your spouse set up a separate cell phone account so you don’t have direct access to the bill? This allows them to talk to people without you being able to access the numbers on the cell phone bill.
5. Is your spouse secretive with their cell phone or very possessive of their phone? Do they let you look at it or use it or do they go to great lengths to make sure you don’t have access to it or not answer it?
6. Have you seen text messages or overheard calls coming in from people you never knew existed? This is usually a “pretend” name that allows your spouse to talk to the person their cheating with while you think it’s their old friend from high school or some long lost friend.

Computer signs
1. Is your spouse to stay up to “work” or “play a games” or “Facebook” on the computer after you have gone to bed? Excessive internet usage, especially late at night can be a red flag.
2. Does your spouse allow you access to their computer or shut it down immediately when you walk into the room?
3. Is their computer password protected? Do they not share their account passwords such as Facebook with you?
4. Does your spouse password protect their laptop or computer to keep you out of it?
5. Does your spouse have unusual sites that have shown in browser history such as Adultfriendfinder or other adult based websites?

 Things are Different at Home:
1. Has your spouse raised hypothetical questions such as, “Do you think it’s possible to love more than one person at a time?”
2. Has your spouse started doing laundry or other chores around the house? If they’ve never done it before, maybe they’re trying to find something or hide something.
3. Has your spouse showed interest in a different type of music or television show that they disliked before?
4. Has your spouse been forgetful or distracted or began acting like they don’t care?
5. Has their attitude changed towards you or the kids?
6. Is your spouse depressed or shows lack of energy or interest in the relationship?
7. Is your spouse sleeping in another room or on the couch?
8. Has your spouse been inquiring more about what your schedule is as if they wanted to know where you’ll be and when?
9 Have you noticed that your spouse becoming verbally abusive, disrespecting you or being sarcastic?
10. Is your spouse being critical or mocking you? Finding faults in everything you do?
11. Has your spouse began accusing you of things, even adultery? This sometimes is a sign of guilt.
12. Does your spouse turn their head when you try to kiss them or show affection?
13. Does your partner ignore or criticize your advances?

Change:
1. Did your spouse belong to or recently join a gym? Have they begun a rigorous workout program when they hated exercise in the past?
2. Has your spouse purchased new clothes, sexy underwear or other items that you have never seen?
3. Have them became preoccupied with their appearance, more so than usual?
4. Does your husband or wife get dressed up to go grocery shopping or get a haircut? Has their hairstyle recently changed? Are they getting more dressed up than usual to go hang with friends?
5. Have there been excessive purchases of clothing or have their clothing style changed?

Telephone Mannerisms:
1. Does your spouse receive mysterious phone calls that don’t make sense? When you ask who called, they will say no one or wrong number.
2. Is there an increase of hang-ups or wrong numbers when you answer the phone?
3. Are there unexplained incoming or outgoing calls by a number you don’t recognize or excessive calls to one number?
4. Does your spouse run to the phone to make sure they answer it instead of you?
5. Does your spouse leave the room to talk on the phone?
6. Does your spouse whisper while they’re on the phone?
7. Does your spouse delete the name or number from the Caller ID?
8. Does your spouse behave differently after they get off the phone? Does the call end quickly when you enter the room?

Automobile Related Signs:
1. Is the passenger’s seat adjusted differently from what you had left it?
2. Does your spouse remove the child seat or other items out of the vehicle for no particular reason?
3. Have you found suspicious items In the car like receipts, lipsticks, condoms or strange hair? Is there a different smelling cologne or perfume in the vehicle?
4. Is your spouse keeping a change of clothes in the vehicle or in their gym bag, more than usual?
5. Is there unexplainable mileage or lack of mileage on the vehicle?
6. Is your spouse making a quick trip to the grocery store or for a pack a cigarettes (which usually takes a couple of minutes) and returns home 5 hours later?
7. Are there additional miles on the vehicle or are you spending more in fuel a month?
8. Paper Trails of a Cheating Spouse:
9. Have you found credit card receipts for gifts you never received? Such as flowers or jewelry?
10. Are you finding credit card or receipts or bills from purchases made in places that you never heard of?
11. Are you seeing an increase in ATM withdrawals on your bank statement? Are any of those from out of town?
12. Are there unusual numbers on your telephone or cell phone bill?
13. Are there excessive calls to one number or lengthy call times?
14. Is your spouse secretive about their cell phone bills? Have they started to pay it themselves or got an account under their own name?

Sex when something is wrong:
1. When your spouse is no longer interested in sex or they make excuses for its infrequency.
2. Does your spouse give up more easily when you decline their advances? Do they stop trying or pushing you into having sex, when they never gave up that easily in the past?
3. When your spouse wants to get kinky or do other erotic sexual activity, especially when it’s out of character. This could include watching porn.
4. When your partner shows off a new talent in the bedroom, maybe they learned it from the individual they have been cheating with.
5. Is your spouse reluctant to kiss or show affection towards you?
6. Does your partner always give excuses why they’re not in the mood?
7. Are there unexplained markings, bruising, cuts or sores, on their bodies or even on their genitals?
8. Is your spouse wanting sex more often?

Signs they may be cheating at work:
1. Is your spouse working longer hours and more frequently?
2. Are they working a lot of overtime but it never shows up on their check?
3. Has their routine changed with no apparent reason?
4. Have they began discouraging or telling you not to call them at work anymore?
5. Is your spouse always unavailable when you call them at work?
6. Does your spouse attend work functions or events alone and tries to discourage you from attending?
7. Do they take a long time to return your call after you left them messages?
8. Have you seen an increase in business trips your spouse takes? Do they discourage or refuse to allow you to drive them to airport or call the hotel?
9. Have you caught your spouse in a lie when they said they were at work and you found out they took a personal day or called off sick?
10. Have you seen a decrease in funds being deposited into your bank account?
11. Are they coming home late from work and they always have an excuse?
12. Are they blaming work stress when you question them about their behavior?

Some things you should expect to hear:
1. “We’re just friends.”
2. “Nothing happened”
3. “You don’t trust me”
4. “Respect my privacy”
5. “I need space to figure things out”
6. “I’m confused”
7. “I love you but I’m not in love with you”
